Finally figured out what the wifi problem is with the fruit phones. Turns out that Apple insists on contacting mommy on IPV6 to "authenticate that it's a genuine fruit and not a vegetable" ... no IPV6 support from cable company here, so can't contact mommy. Therefore, no wifi.

I'm ready to turn this piece of SHIT into a wheel chock. :(
