I wish it had been the Cosmos.I hope this NYC FC thing buys the glorious Cosmos name. I don't know where they'll play. With the Yankees involved, it's possible they will play temporarily at Yankee Stadium even though it's not ideal for soccer and too big for MLS. The alternative would be for them to play at Red Bull Arena or at Hofstra. Chelsea will be playing Man City in a friendly at Yankee Stadium in a couple of days. Spain will be playing Eire there in early June. I might go to the Spain match. I've changed my mind about going to the Israel vs Honduras game at Citi Field. |
