You're insane.Single payer healthcare will finally get medical care costs under control while providing access to necessary care for all. At minimum Medicare, with it low overhead, should be opened as an insurance option. One of the first laws passed by the first Congress required gun owners to register them. There's nothing wrong, or unconstitutional about that. It will enable law enforcement to trace illegally obtained weapons. Do you have a problem with actually getting a handle on illegal weapons on the street? People have the right to know if their neighbors have guns, as there is always a risk of accidents. Banning non-threatening hate speech goes against the First Amendment. No one wants to change that. But I can understand why the RW is concerned there, as they're the primary source of it. There will be an expanding number of states legislating marriage equality, and Prop 8 will be overturned or revoted in California and marriage equality will be the law there. There is nothing wrong with legal equality as so many laws granting benefits to those married. Any monogamous couple should be able to access them. You're imagining the rest and ought to share what you're smoking. Standards for homeschooling need to be enforced. IMO especially after grade 4 children really need the social interaction, exchange of ideas and to develop social and teamwork skills schools provide, be they public or private. |
