Neither of those have anything to do with increasingly progressive legal interpretations. For example I do think that the 2nd amendment will lose it's teeth due to a more progressive interpretation. And in the near future. That's what the NRA is fighting against. They know it too.What on earth are you talking about? Heller vs DC was just decided, and it broadened the second amendment - never before had 100% banning of handguns in a jurisdiction been prohibited. Citizens United sure broadened the 1st amendment in a conservative direction. |
