It's ironic he should have been killed in a highway accident one state away.I really wonder how he expected to get all the way to Brazil on foot. As you referenced, the last time I looked there was still a road gap of 50 km or so of Panama jungle. Some people attempted a U.S. to [IIRC] Argentina, road trip not that many years ago. As they got further and further south, what the border agents didn't get the bandits did. They DID make it to their destination having lost almost everything, including their original car, but they were all alive. |
