So it's OK with you if the government covers up its own ineptitude in order to ensure that the President doesn't look bad in an election year?

And you're OK with the US Government blaming a YouTube video when they knew that serious terrorists were really behind the attack?


1. The government didn't cover up its ineptitude. It was known right away. Please note however that the Obama administration has better protected American installations abroad than any other administration since President Ford. Mistakes happen, and they've happened less under Obama. Hoepfully they'll happen even less going forward.

2. I'm OK with it because the deputy director of the CIA strongly argued that he didn't want it to be known that the CIA knew that it was planned terrorism. I would have preferred if their concealment of that knowledge had been handled better. They could have said it's quite likely to be terrorism without tipping their hand about what they knew.
