GW bush expanded government unlike anything Nixon could have dreamt of. He was no liberal.One of the tenets of conservatism is a craven desire to obtain and remain in power. That comes from its monarchistic roots. It's one of the biggest problems in our government today.....the republicans are power crazed. We've seen it in every republican, all of whom were conservatives, elected in the past 50 years. |
