I really feel old!I can remember them having a hit with that record the first year I followed the Hit Parade in 1952. It was the same year that Jambalaya, String Along and Gandy Dancer's Ball were pop hits for Jo Stafford, The Ames Bros and Frankie Laine. My absolute favorite that year was Rosemary Clooney's Half as Much! I'll bet I still have the 78 RPM records in storage. |
