The 1973 "duece and a quarter" always was a personal favorite of mine. ESPECIALLY the 4 door hard top. I drove a gorgeous pearl blue one, similar to this 2 door, with a white vinyl root owned by my employer (Triple S Blue Stamps division of The Grand Union Supermarket Company) regularly.in 1974/1975. It was assigned to an executive VP. A real "sleeper" as long as you didn't make any sudden turns. 455CID 4BBL rated at over 350 horsepower.. IIRC it got around 9 MPG. 0 to 60 in about 6 or 7 seconds. Passed everything but a gas station |
