During the Sicilian assembly and gubernatorial elections last fall, Beppe swam the Strait of Messina from the mainland to that island.Time: 1 hour 9 minutes.....in a downpour and with strong winds, waves and currents. Not bad for for a fat guy in his mid-sixties. |
