That's correct. And because I have no PROFF, I'll just say that the story as explained is highly plausible because if we're to believe that it was Soetoro's doing, and he wasn't a particularly devout Muslim to begin with, I think he'd have a problem with his 'son' being raised a Catholic much in the same way I wouldn't want any of my kids to be raised in the church of Scientology even if they own the college.Putting that down in Indonesia in a school where you WILL be taught Catholicism unless you have a trump card scarier than the Pope, I can see a "parent" doing that just to keep the priests off his kid. :) And somehow I doubt the kid made the choice in the first place. Most kids when it comes to religion are, "OK ... can I have that cookie now?" |
