Obama had no religious upbringing from his parents. His parents didn't not practice Christianity, they didn't practice anything. There are no Muslim roots to be defensive about. His parents sent him to Catholic and Islamic schools the way parents who are atheist or agnostic (or even Jewish) send their kids to Christian schools in the US. I applied for admission to an Episcopal school in high school. What does that make me? |
