I believe it was a forced retirement. Her last show was June? Way after her f bomb, NBC just chose not to renew her contract.
Now there was a reporter that did drop the f bomb and CBS fired him even though in his case a couple of douchebags were harassing him with oppie and Anthony ads. He was rehired on wpix 11.
