A person in Texas might say the same about NY. We all tend to want to live around people like ourselves, and that includes political views. It's a big enough country. Besides like most places Texas is likely becoming more liberal. In a couple of decades Texas will be more like you are now. Of course if the trend holds by then that will be considered moderate or maybe even conservative. |
