Posted by QM18Express on Thu Dec 6 20:44:48 2007 Saw and rode 870 today on the B68. It now got interior LED lights installed in it. I got pics and video that would come later on tonight or tomorrow. |

There is also one O7 hybrid with this---I believe it is 6560. IMO, this should become the future standard...LEDs last longer than even fluorescent bulbs. |

From what I heard from a good Florida source, Miami Dade Transit will get LED lights installed on their NABIs. |

Nice!In the news, the Brooklyn Bridge is going LED too. I was surprised, as I didn't think the LED bulbs were bright enough for that yet. Must be real expensive ones! The Rockefeller Center tree is LED, and so is the New Year's ball; which I just saw today aon display at Macy's! Only three days left. Its a dazzling display of color, as the triangles all can change to different colors from each other. The bus signs are already LED; now if only we can get the color changing ones in MTA! |
