Lot of crazy vehicle drivers lately. Saw 5 accidents today alone.
Hopefully it was a cummins bus, it's bad enough we got 394 sidelined for awhile.

Ten people were injured when a suburban bus operated by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority / Long Island Bus crashed into a car late Wednesday night on a street in Garden City. None of the injuries are considered life-threatening, according to police.

Garden City Police Department Sgt. Bobby Pedersen told the Associated Press that the bus was making a left turn when it collided with the car at about 10 p.m. Wednesday.

On Thursday morning, Garden City Police could provide no additional details about the crash. Long Island Bus could not be reached for comment.

According to the Associated Press the injured included bus passengers, as well as the driver of the car and a passenger in the car. All were taken to Nassau County Medical Center.

The Long Island Bus system carries more than 100,000 passengers daily on routes in Nassau, western Suffolk County and eastern Queens.

Get real. I'm sure the people who were injured hope it was a cummins bus too.

Very little detail in the article. I saw this Thursday morning and was surprised that it was never updated with any additional detail.

My understanding is that the accident occurred in front of 140 Old Country Road. The article says the bus was making a left turn, which probably means that this was an N15 making the turn from Old Country onto County Seat Drive.
