I think the NYC MTA has to stop ordering this crap immediately! It looks hideous! It has an awful ride! It's too small! I think the new design looks worse than the current one. And I hate that one too. |

Exactly my thoughts...I can't imagine it looking good without that part.In fact, I'm wondering how someone's going to put the company logo on the front of the bus. There doesn't seem to be a flat spot availble save for the black part under the windshield. Forget about front ads unless you add that rack thing. Too many frills, although the headlights are growing on me. That back just doesn't work for me, though. Just as I adjusted to the back of the old Orion VII... |

I'm surprised they haven't removed the Earth Day wrap still. I really hope though that the MTA might explore new paint scheme since this bus will look weird with it (I hope they keep as much black as they can). Also, they won't be able to place ads or their own logo on it. Can anyone see one of those front fishbowl ad racks going in front :) Nice catch and thanks for sharing. |

Orion just shrank the front door on these models and kept the center door as normal. That's one of my pet peeves about the design. I wonder what all that junk is on top. I recognize the battery pack as per the regular Orion VII hybrids, but what about the back portions. This vehicle is definitely not as sleek as the New Flyer LFR series. |
