Since when did it go to Flushing? For the past 5 times I went to Flsuhing I saw this weird looking old looking RTS bus of MTA bus wondering, an RTS MTA BUs? what route here in Flushing was not of NYCT or of Queen Surface. I saw the Q19 and thought it was a mistake. Also, from the times I alked byt he stop, nobody is lined up at the stop ever and the bus pulls away empty.

It was just extended to Main Street in January, by MTA Bus. Makes sense. Now if they only would let it run past 6 pm, people could use it to get home from Mets Games.

I rode it yesterday and today and both times 4 other people got on at main street. I rode once last week and there was only one other person.

It hasn't been publicized.

Is there a stop on Northern Blvd. near Shea?

No, after it leaves Main and Roosevelt the next stop is just south of Northern Blvd, then it shares a stop on Northern with the Q65 and Q66. The next stop is 31st Drive and Astoria blvd.

Geez, there should be a stop at Northern and 126th, for Mets fans on day games.

Yeah, I agree, the Mets actually encourage their fans to use mass transit.

I guess Astoria fans can take the bus to Main St. and transfer to the 7. But it seems stupid.

not really as it is a direct route and if they only use that one transfer. Better than backtracking to QBP for the 7.

I think there is a bus stop for Shea on Northern Blvd. at either 126 Street or 126 Place for both the Q19 and Q66. This is for eastbound only.

Once when I was a teenager, my brother and I took the bus from Astoria to Shea. except we had to get off the Q19 where it terminated at 102 St., then hike 3 longish biocks to Northern Blvd, for the Q66 (and pay another fare). But it worked (if you were young and energetic).

I think we took the subway (7 to Astoria line) back.

Or just take the 7 to Queensboro Plaza and transfer to the N/W.

You can't do that heading from Shea Stadium as the Q19 and Q66 does not stop by Shea Stadium heading westbound

A big long roundabout ride, especially if you are starting from 49th Street and Astoria Blvd.

Because there is no place to put one on Northern Boulevard in that section, though I think that maybe buses can loop around Stadium Road.
