(I used my phone's Express Transit for all legs).
Day 1: Express Bus to Subway to Local Bus (all within the same two hours).
$7.25 was charged right away on boarding the express bus, then nothing more.
Day 2: Nothing
Day 3: $3.00 charge pending on the relevant card account
Day 4: Pending charge still there
Day 5: Pending charge removed
Result: $7.25 only for this trip; I did not contact the agency at any time.
