This is for instances in New York City bus history where there is no known exact date.
1958: The next-to-last order of new "Old Look" buses for Surface Transit - and the last to be built for them by Mack - enter into service. C-49-DT's 3000-3009 (serial numbers 2162-2171) will be part of the great MaBSTOA bus renumbering of 1963, where they will be rebranded as 4900-4909; together with the 1954 (2990-2999, later 4990-4999) and 1956 (2962-2989, later 4962-4989; and 800, later 4910) orders, these will remain in service through 1967.
