I remember that ambience from a very young age, only near the end of that era before the entire terminal was remodeled and that extension built.On a tangent, I wonder if any newsreels exist online of the point in summer 1950 when the "Weather Star" was first activated on what at that point in time was the Mutual Life building (later the MONY building, now merely 1740 Broadway). |

Greyhound finally moved to the PABT in 1963 - the same year, by some strange coincidence, that the demolition of the original Penn Station commenced. |
