A new route, Q-76 - 73rd Avenue, is launched on this date; it runs from 175th Street and Hillside Avenue to 67th Avenue and 230th Street via Hillside Avenue, 188th Street and 73rd Avenue.

That's Q-75 (73rd Ave). Q-76, Francis Lewis Blvd., started about a decade later (1961).
