Rapido Trains' GM Fishbowl bus

I ordered this one a little over a year ago, and am still waiting for it (they are now saying next month). Seems they have some production issues.

Yes, they have a video of its move from Calgary to Toronto. I think it was originally in the Calgary bus system. Toronto's had wide exit doors and no standee windows.

I wish Rapido would do an SDM, but they were not too common in Canda, and half the ones in the US were for NJ operators.

The particular bus looked more liked a San Francisco MUNI GMC bus (fleet numbers #3000-3391, built 1969-1970), especially with that paint scheme. I thought of buying a Rapido model, a MABSTOA TDH-5301 (bus #3165), and it was offered at a second hand price of $50.00 at a rail hobby show in New Jersey. I passed up on that though.

I can see that as a Q53 parked in front of Rogoff’s on Beach 116th street around 1983.
