Streetcar service ended the previous day. Bus service will be run by the New York City Omnibus Corporation as Route 16. This was the second part of their two-route bustitution (of which the 20 116th Street Crosstown was the first). There was definitely more pomp and circumstance at 34th over that street's rails-to-rubber switch. |
