I heard that SEPTA is replacing artics with 40' buses due to low ridership.
The opposite should be true. Artics allow more spacing aming passengers.

NYC did that on many lines too. Totally defeats the distancing theory.

Not seeing it in Manhattan. Lots of nearly empty artics with the passengers nicely spaced apart.

Even when there was no dire need for distancing, I preferred to sit as far away from other passengers as possible.

On a two door artic with the rear door in the back section, might there be some concerns about safe boardings at that location with rear door entry?
