March 21, 1936 - The Book of Last Runs and Route Extensions

Manhattan, New York
Fifth Avenue Coach Company

Several changes to key routes take effect on this date, to wit:
- The 2 - Fifth and Seventh Avenues line's northern terminus is extended to 168th Street and Broadway for the first time since 1921 (it had previously terminated there from April 8, 1917 until circa 1921); up to this point its north end had been 125th Street.
- The 3 - Fifth and St. Nicholas Avenues line's northern and southern termini, which since 1921 had been set at 181st Street and 25th Street respectively, are extended back to their 1917-c.1921 ends of 193rd Street and Washington Square.
- Service is discontinued on two routes, 7 - Washington Heights-Harlem (in service since c.1917) and 18 - 110th Street, Morningside and St. Nicholas Avenues (which had begun operations on February 6, 1933, but had run one franchise trip a day after July 19, 1933).
