A Philadelphia city route had a letter O bus ,as did our older Suburban route , which had an O bus. IIRC, the instruction trolley at Wyoming shops had the number 0. |

In Phoenix it is the number 0, for the reason explained.Way back in the day, Los Angeles Railway may have had a route letter O, but I'm not 100% sure about that |

Although this is not exactly the correct forum, although it is an IRT line, the #7 Flushing Line has been over the years handled by the BMT in the Command Center (now RCC). At some point when I was in the schedule office, I suggested renaming the Flushing Line with a letter “O” which could also be reinterpreted as a number “0” since the line was sort of a hybrid between the BMT and the IRT. With the character in question, the line could be identified dually as an IRT and a BMT line since that was in a sense what it was. |
