The legal guys will make A LOT OF MONEY if the illegal ones are pushed off the street. The cops and the TLC should be out there all day, every day. You'll see the minibuses get nicer and they will all be full. |

Sadly these crackdowns are like "the flavor of the day". The cops swoop in, then a few days later the gypsy vans are back a few days later. |

Good.Maybe this will stop the jump outs these guys do. Watched a dollar van get into a fender bender, the driver jumped out and ran away , leaving the passengers there to deal. |

Yes.What compounded the issue was the fact he had someone shadow him.. One of the passengers, reached out and took the money in the van, the shadow dudes rolled up, produced weapons, took the money and dismissed the riders before the police showed up. |

Maybe the accident was not so accidental?Anyway, if the vans were legal, the drivers wouldn't need to be afraid of the police, which means they wouldn't be such targets for real criminals. The same as with any other black market (drugs, alcohol during prohibition, etc.) |
