n31 & n32 lack of mid-day service |

Posted by Joe on Wed Oct 16 17:07:43 2019 N31 and n32 run from Hempstead to Lynbrook and Far Rockaway. Friends try to travel between Wantagh and Far Rock, transferring between train and bus at Lynbrook. The strange thing is that n31 runs only four trips Monday-Friday but 20 on Saturday and 0 on Sunday.N32 runs only rush hours on Monday-Friday, but provides 26 trips on Saturday and a similar full schedule on Sunday. --- I'm puzzled why weekday riders have zero service during mid-day hours and Saturday and Sunday service is much more regular. --- Am I misreading the schedules? |

It's always been that way from when it was pre-MSBA Nassau Bus lines. |

The pdf you linked shows much more than the schedule below the interactive map, which apparently displays (for the current day) only the trips in motion on the map. It is quite reassuring. |

I've learned to check both the PDF and the interactive map, as they often contradict each other. Also, sometimes buses appear without showing up on the real-time Transit app. |
