Compensation for Accident Victim |

Posted by cortelyounext on Tue Sep 17 14:17:33 2019 I usually cringe at some of the monetary awards but not in this case. 54?The driver, Ronald Lewis, quit his job following the crash, Mazie said. Lewis was involved in 54 motor vehicle collisions dating back to 1996 while driving for New Jersey Transit, according to records provided by Mazie. Here |

I'd need to see his record before I can believe this report. NJT is quite strict about accidents and progressive discipline would have caused his firing had he actually had that many in all likelihood. |

I mean a couple three would be reason enough. On a totally unrelated note, my sister and her husband used to live at the corner of Grove Street and Oradell Avenue just east of the train station. I was raised in New Milford and enjoyed watching the trains and also the buses pulling into that depot on the west bank of the river near the old Hackensack Water Company/United Water/Suez plant - I think it is called Van Buskirk Island no pun intended. |
