Posted by Q23 on Sat Mar 23 17:09:34 2019 Due to stalled/delayed SB Q49 buses in Jackson Heights, which could not make service NB/EB and caused long lines at Roosevelt Avenue, a bus was taken off the Q53 SBS at 75th Street, in which case was doing it's last trip before deadheading to LGA depot. It was sent to make one trip via the Q49 up to East Elmhurst, and then deadhead to the depot. Enjoy this rare catch!  |

Great image and video catch!Speaking from experience as a regular rider on that line to/from the 74th/Roosevelt-Broadway terminal, there are always long lines and crowds, plus delayed buses, for the #Q49 at that location where I have witnessed especially during the weekday PM rush hour. -William A.
