The Volvo suburbans only had two, all of the Neoplans have two,. Not an issue. In a low-floor application, the third door takes away from passenger capacity even more than a standard-floor (2 steps at the door) body, which NJT wants to avoid anyway. That's why the ordered the NABI shorties with only one door - that way, they maintained the capacity of the 30-foot RTSes that had two doors. |
