I have to ask: Was this the "Brooklyn Bus Division" as structured for many years under city ownership/operation? I ask because of certain routes, in the early years of the TA, being designated on paper transfers as "Brooklyn Bus Division" and others as "BMT Bus Division" (presumably derived from Brooklyn & Queens Transit routes). And as far as the 1960's are concerned, there are only five routes that are a question mark as to which belonged where: B-15, B-19, B-78, B-83 and B-84. Certainly as far as bus operations go over the years, the most populous of the five boroughs was also the most complicated.

As was B-15. But I have seen that in some cases, one depot would have a few lines grouped under the Brooklyn Bus Division, and a few others under the BMT Bus Division, assigned thereto (one example: East New York depot [code #3], which had four routes [B-45, B-47, B-60 and B-65] under the former entity and seven [B-10, B-12, B-14, B-22, B-25, B-40 and B-56] under the latter). Haven't seen any paper transfers for those routes in question, hence the query.

I assume that the B-15 bus replaced the Three Cent Line, which foled the same year- 1929?
