Best not to argue if a passenger reuses to comply right away, just press the emergency 911 call button if available or radio for assistance.

Winnipeg and Calgary are not particularly safe cities by Canadian standards.

That said, Canada, with 35 million people, has about 600 homicides per year, less than Chicago with population of around 2 million.

No, it wouldn't. In Canada, criminal law is federal. Canada does not have capital punishment.
