Mabstoa TDH5301s (ex Surface Transit/ Fifth Ave Coach) were always faves of mine. Classier than that of the NYCTA fleet. Unfortunately "bastardized" by OA to be more inline with later 5303s and the TA fleet. |

In 1959-60, pre Mabstoa days, I saw my first TDH5301. Green and yellow. Yellow ring around tire center. Gorgeous buses! A/C ones even better. |

MaBSTOA buses had turquoise green plastic seats. NYCTA had charcoal gray seats.The 3000 series had coral red transverse seats in the rear in both MaBSTOA and NYCTA buses. |
