I did some work a few years back on the construction of the FDR Four Freedoms Park, we were permitted to bring our cars to the site, so I never really used them, but I did drive past them every day going to and from the bridge. |

AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH NEW FLYER INDUSTRIES, INC.FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO XCELSIOR D40LF DIESEL BUSES Two so far (to replace #1 and #4 which are becoming expensive to maintain), with funds allocated to buy 1 bus every year from 2016 to 2022. RIOC is considering piggybacking on MTA orders. RIOC also looked into the LFS and refurbished Gillig BRT buses. |

When the Cornell/Technion center opens in a couple of years, lots more people will need to be moved to/from the tram, subway and garage. Anyone have any knowledge if the RIOC buses (like the ones we are talking about) will be handling that, or has a special arrangement been made with C/T for a shuttle loop of their own? |
