Posted by BrooklynBus on Tue May 26 15:33:38 2015 Sheepsheadbites BlogTHE COMMUTE: The MTA is proposing Select Bus Service (SBS) on the B46 Utica Avenue bus route scheduled for autumn implementation this year. It was scheduled for discussion at the MTA Transit Committee meeting this past May 18. The information is provided on the ‘Staff Summary,’ on pages 133 to 138 of the agenda. Community meetings have already been held. Here are some questions for the MTA regarding the proposed B46 SBS: |

As much as I love New Flyer C40s, I think it would be absolutely terrible to run a retired 2000 New Flyer C40LF on the B46 SBS.Ok, into serious mode. I agree with your 10th point, that once again people who would potentially most benefit from SBS, that is those people who live near the extreme ends of the route, will again have life made needlessly more difficult for them, if they get to use SBS at all. |

Just for the hell of it, I submitted these questions to the MTA's e-mail system.I clearly submitted 10 questions so why does the response say "suggestions"? Do you really think they sit and evaluate whether your feedback is a question or a suggestion before they pick a boilerplate response? |
