Especially hard to believe given this:Rockland Bus Service will be resumed at 1:00 p.m. All Transport of Rockland (TOR) and TAPPANZEEXpress (TZx) bus service will be resumed at 1:00 p.m. TOR service will be operating a regular schedule TZx service will be operating a Saturday schedule |

Same as CT Transit is doing - most of southwestern Connecticut got only a few inches of snow but CT Transit is staying closed. Probably not worth the expense of starting the system back up for so few riders. |

And some secondary roads still need to be plowed. Why bother? They should be able to run full service tomorrow. |

I've heard that the problem with BeeLine is that the main bus garage facility is in Yonkers, up a steep hill, and the City of Yonkers generally lets Liberty Lines stew, while they plow the rest of Yonkers and not the road to the Bus garage. Just politics. Im glad I didnt need to go up to Westchester for my family on TUE. |
