Those are the B47(Tompkins) and B48(Lorimer) trolley coaches. My grandparents lived near the other end of the B47.One summer Sunday ritual was to travel to my grandparents house for lunch. I'd then take the B47 to Ebbets Field and watch a double header in the bleacher seats. Judging by the age of the cars (I think I see a 1954), the bus fare was 15 cents and the bleachers cost 50 cents. |
