Last year, I sat on a bench for two hours at the UN Terminal. 9098 pulled in and sat on the left curb with the engine running. It left after 15 minutes FLAGGING all the bus fans waiting at the corner. I wrote to the MTA website and the response was "We've identified the driver and we may have to call on you to attend a hearing." Of course, nobody called.There's no published schedule unlike the nostalgia train. That would help!! |

For example, what if they already have the necessary parts available? How much would it cost to install and maintain them for just a month and then remove them? And how much benefit/PR would it bring to NYCT? You haven't addressed any of that. |

But that's what I said. This is being steered completely off topic now and its over nonsense. Pure speculation points to not being willing nor able to affix those transponders on those buses for a couple different reasons. It would be to the advantage of a few fans and it probably isn't worth the hassle of finding a solution to those issues, if that is even the problem(s) in the first place. |
