I believe that the Nabi order is complete, which means those RTSs at Orange Garage are here to stay for the time being. Not that my wishes matter to the heads of NJ Transit, but I wish to see some New Flyer Xcelsiors 40' transits come in with the frameless windows to replace the remaining RTSs. |

Some of those RTSes will go when the MCI CNG order is complete, as that will relieve the current shortage of coaches (which in turn have forced NABIs into service where coaches had been, and the RTSes are filling the gap on the local transit end). The rest will be around until the Pulaski Skyway reconstruction is complete.You're more likely to see Xcelsior artics replacing the Neoplans in about 2 years - the Nova artic doesn't really fit what NJT uses them for. |

Do you think Greenville Garage in Jersey City will get their 12+ Nabi suburbans back from Fairview when the CNG order is complete? I know some of Fairview's MCIs went to Howell. It will be interesting to see which bus goes where when all is said and done.Sorry to go off topic. Does anyone know why Garages Orange, Hilton, Greenville, Ironbound and others don't have their garage emble decals on their transit, suburban and commuter buses while some others does? |

I don't know, but I know Orange and Hilton used to have their decals on the Novas back in the 90's. OTOH, I don't remember seeing Oradell decals until fairly recently. |

IIRC, NJT version of "Eastchester" is the lot near the Lincoln Tunnel approach, not the lot at the entrance of the Lincoln Tunnel but closer to the NJ Turnpike, if there's no Baby RTS there then they are probably scrapped, IDK any other place where NJT would store unused buses, and if NJT put the baby RTSs up for sale it probably would get posted here. |
