Bx15 -- No Articulated Buses?

For years, the Bx15 route mostly used articulated buses. Sometimes a regular bus would go into service, but I imagine the schedule was constructed assuming most buses would have the capacity of articulated buses.

I happened to be on 125 St. this weekend and all the Bx15 buses I saw were conventional. I wonder how the Bx15 (which now includes the previously all-articulated Bx55 route) can function with smaller buses?

There's some Artics on the BX15 today. Maybe ridership is lighter on weekends so they put 40 footers on there. BX depots never really keep fleets uniform on routes, XD60s on SBS routes when they don't have SBS wraps for example. And CNGs on the BX19.

BX depots for the most part do keep fleets uniform. I would not even consider SBS wraps vs. non-SBS wraps anymore.
The Concourse, for example, in NEARLY 100% artic. I say that because generally when said artics fail to make it out of KB, 40 footers are used.(which is something I wouldn't mind riding again, 'specially a Orion V)

This was taken about a month and a half ago. They'll run some occasionally on the KB trippers.

I've seen that myself. They also do that on the G.C. with GH trippers.
So, if they would forget the trippers and handle everything according to the assigned depots, wouldn't that just "even" out?
