Even went back later that evening, shopped, and ate at Checkers. Was a nice night, felt like I was back at Freedomland (LOL).BTW, I saw a rock with a Freedomland commemorative plaque, which I never knew existed. (the plaque, that is). I went to the theater at Bay Plaza several weeks ago, and thought about going over there, but I changed my mind when I saw a LONG string of maybe 100+ people trying to cross the street from JC Penney to the Bx12SBS bus stop, on a VERY narrow sidewalk! I'm going next weekend! |
