The green sign reminds me of the buses the TA ordered in the late 90s.. As soon as I saw that photo It instantly reminded me of seeing 99 Novas on the B8 in the early 2000s. |

They, along with Ulmer Park, Flatbush, and Queens Village, have buses in the 1998 batch. QV will probably get LFSs, but the Brooklyn garages will probably get Xcelsiors. But they don't need buses as badly as ENY and JAM. |

FWIW, the buses in Minneapolis don't have license plates, which is rather bizarre in itself.That said, I would be shocked if the NYPD would actually issue a ticket for no registration on a NYC Transit bus.
