Link from the Daily Mail of London. Mostly rail equipment but scroll down and there is one picture of an abandoned bus. Perhaps the side destination sign can give an indication of the last operator. Also posting this on Sub-Chat.

CTS could be Calgary Transit, they have a route that is Killarney-26th Ave. That would be quite a ways from NY though!

No, it's not misleading. It was taken from the article cited in the original post. It just so happens that the article listed the wrong location for any one of a number of reasons.
