Nice shots Joe! BC Transit will be receiving 6 or 7 Gillig diesels soon, but some of the O6's will still be around for a while longer until more money is found for additional new buses.

BC Transit's buses are diesels. Only MTA and MBTA in Boston had Orion VI hybrids.

Thanx for the updates. Looks like another trip may be in order. Hope the O6s stay around, especially the ex-CDTA's. The O6 was always a neat bus, I thought.

The back door on the CDTA O6's is not too convenient. You can trip over the feet of the people in the back seat while trying to get to the door. When the driver kneels the bus, as the front step gets lower the back step gets higher

And I think 6350 is now a museum bus.

I rode one of those on the M60 a while back. The were a nice ride, though I think the hybrid drive was a bit weak for the Astoria climb up to the Triboro Bridge.
