That foot bridge from East Harlem to the Island is pretty cool, as its a draw bridge, I wonder if its possible to stand on the lift portion of the bridge while its lifted up.. |

M35 aside, they finally found a place in NYC that's so inaccessible, by anything from anywhere, that you can build 50 softball diamonds and no one wants to play on any of them. |

Maybe they could reroute the Q102 route to instead serve Randalls Island instead of traveling along 30th Avenue to a terminal that is already served by three other routes (Q18, Q19 & Q103). |

On the weekend, perhaps, my criticism is unjustified. On weekday afternoons, the fields are not conveniently situated for the high school teams that use the 2:30-5:30pm slots, or the adult leagues that play at 5:30. Maybe if your whole team works in the East 50s and has understanding bosses. That's rarely the case. I don't suppose anyone wants to build an Amtrak stop there with an elevator down the Hell Gate Bridge, lol. |

It provides extra capacity between the Astoria Houses and the subway, so people aren't packing onto Q18s.The question is: How much demand is there from Queens and The Bronx for a direct route to Randall's Island? |

Service levels also must be increased on the Q18 & Q19 routes. The Q18 route also needs to be extended to the Metropolitan Avenue Station of the "M" Line via 69th Street. |
