Uptown Bus Crash |

Orion VII hybrid bus #6372 on the M4 route (northbound), was struck by a van at 155th Street and Broadway. Preliminary reports states that the auto struck the left center of the bus, the bus jumped the curb, and struck the front of a (pizza shop) building on Broadway between 155th and 156th Street. The bus was not in passenger service at the time of the accident. 5 injuries reported: 2 pedestrians, 2 occupants in the van involved in the accident, and the bus operator. They were removed to Harlem and St Luke's Hospital with unknown injuries. The accident remains under investigation.    |

Unless the frame is bent, all that bus needs is a new front. And since there are Orion VII hybrids that have been retired due to fires, there are plenty of front ends around.
