Curious how this relocation of Greyhound Express service will affect the use of Union Station for charter buses. In the past parking and drop off/pick ups at this location made a trip to DC just a little bit easier.

Did they have a separate terminal before?

There not even that far apart in the first place! SMH

Not feeling this move, isn't the No Ma Gallaudet Metro station even closer to the Greyhound Terminal than Union Station? If so then that should be good enough lol.

Can't imagine MARC/VRE gets that much use outside of employees who work in DC, the commuter rail service down there is not as good as the Commuter service up here.

Wow! I wonder who's getting kicked out of Union Station to make room for GLI and Peter Pan.

Have you ever made the walk from the DC Greyhound terminal to NoMA Metro? Up a flight of wooden stairs, down a flight of wooden stairs, not a good thing to do at night and the non-stairs alternate is roundabout.

In contrast, two escalators/elevators down from the Union Station garage to Union Station Metro is much simpler.

So what will happen to the old terminal once GLI/PPB move out?

It's been three years since my last trip to D.C. via the Greyhound. I was mad at myself of not going down there to get a last ride on WMATA's Flxible Metro Es with the DD50 engine and coupled with an Allison tranny. I do like the idea of intermodal. You know... have intercity buses, Amtrak, Marc and Virginia commuter trains, metro rail (red line), and metrobus all into one hub. I'll try to make a trip down there before the weather gets too chilly.
