Most of these new buses have engine door vents to aid in proper ventilation of the engine compartment, especially during summer months when buses tend to overheat (even with these newer electronic cooling radiator fans). |

Actually the venting is for the new 2012 EPA engines that require alot more air flow to the engine as venting to keep the engine cooler when operating even at normal conditions. |
